1) PURPOSE & ALLOWED USE (GIG-ONLY)

  • 1.1 This rental is intended solely for gig work and personal transportation related to gig driving (rideshare and/or delivery), subject to Platform rules and vehicle eligibility.
  • 1.2 Prohibited uses include illegal activity, racing, towing unless permitted, commercial hauling beyond normal delivery, off-road use, or any use that violates law or Platform policies.

2) TERM, WEEKLY BILLING, AND EXTENSIONS

  • 2.1 Rental continues week-to-week with automatic weekly charges of [WEEKLY_PRICE] plus applicable fees/add-ons/taxes.
  • 2.2 Renter authorizes recurring payments until the rental ends.
  • 2.3 Extensions are subject to availability and payment success. Non-payment may result in termination and recovery steps per Platform policy.

3) UNLIMITED MILES

  • 3.1 Unlimited miles are included for the rental term. Renter must comply with basic vehicle care and inspection rules.
  • 3.2 Excessive abuse or misuse remains prohibited even under unlimited miles.

4) MAINTENANCE INCLUDED (ROUTINE) — DEFINITIONS & LIMITS

  • 4.1 Included: routine scheduled maintenance (oil change and standard service intervals) when due based on mileage/time.
  • 4.2 Not included: accident damage, negligence, misuse, curb impacts, tire damage from road hazards (unless tire plan purchased), mechanical damage from ignored warning lights, or unauthorized modifications/repairs.
  • 4.3 Renter must promptly report warning lights or drivability issues and follow Platform instructions.
  • 4.4 Platform may require evidence (photos of dashboard lights, odometer) before approving maintenance.

5) FUEL POLICY

  • Fuel Policy Selected: [RETURN_FULL or PREPAID_FUEL]
  • 5.1 Platform/Owner will provide a full tank at start, documented by check-in fuel gauge photo.
  • 5.2 If Return Full: Renter must return with full tank documented by check-out fuel photo. If not full, Renter owes fuel charges per Section 10.
  • 5.3 If Prepaid Fuel: Renter may return at any fuel level.

6) CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT DOCUMENTATION (EVIDENCE REQUIREMENT)

  • 6.1 Renter must complete guided photo checklists at pickup and return, including: exterior angles, interior, tires, odometer, fuel gauge.
  • 6.2 These records establish condition and are used for dispute resolution and deposit capture decisions.

7) DEPOSIT HOLD (NOT A CHARGE)

  • 7.1 A refundable deposit hold of [DEPOSIT_AMOUNT] will be authorized on Renter's payment method.
  • 7.2 Deposit may be partially captured for eligible charges supported by evidence, including fuel shortfall, tolls/tickets, cleaning/smoking, late return, damage, and unpaid weekly charges.

8) TOLLS, TICKETS, FEES, AND ADMIN CHARGES

  • 8.1 Renter is responsible for tolls and tickets incurred during the rental term.
  • 8.2 Platform may charge Renter after return upon receiving toll/ticket confirmation.

9) PROHIBITED BEHAVIOR / VEHICLE CARE

  • 9.1 No smoking/vaping in the vehicle.
  • 9.2 No pets unless explicitly allowed.
  • 9.3 Keep vehicle reasonably clean; excessive mess may incur cleaning fees.
  • 9.4 Renter must not disable tracking devices (if any) or interfere with vehicle systems.

10) FEE SCHEDULE (EVIDENCE-BASED)

  • Fuel shortfall (Return Full only): $35 service fee + fuel cost estimate
  • Cleaning fee (excessive mess): [CLEANING_FEE]
  • Smoking fee: [SMOKING_FEE]
  • Late return: [LATE_FEE_RULE]
  • Lost key: [LOST_KEY_FEE]
  • Damage/misuse: cost of repair + admin fee (if applicable) supported by evidence

11) INSURANCE / COVERAGE DISCLOSURE

  • 11.1 Coverage selection (if offered): [COVERAGE_PLAN_NAME] with deductible [DEDUCTIBLE] and exclusions [SUMMARY].
  • 11.2 If rideshare platform requires additional insurance, Renter is responsible for meeting those requirements unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • 11.3 Renter agrees to comply with all applicable laws and rideshare/delivery platform requirements.

12) DEFAULT, TERMINATION, AND RECOVERY

  • 12.1 Non-payment, fraud, prohibited use, or failure to return vehicle may result in termination, deposit capture, and recovery actions as permitted by law and Platform policy.
  • 12.2 Platform may restrict account access and report incidents to relevant parties as legally permitted.

13) DISPUTES & CLAIMS PROCESS

  • 13.1 Disputes must be filed within [DISPUTE_WINDOW] hours of return.
  • 13.2 Platform will use condition reports, messages, receipts, and evidence to resolve disputes.

14) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • 14.1 Platform is a marketplace facilitator unless otherwise stated; Platform's liability is limited to fees paid to Platform, to the extent permitted by law.

15) GOVERNING LAW & VENUE
